Card clothings for roller cards

CYLINDER WIRES

The two main product groups in the SOBELCARD range of cylinder wires are:

  • DIAMOND: 2,00 mm high clothings for modern high production cards, with a tooth geometry
    preventing loading with seed-coat fragments and trash.
  • SAPPHIRE: 2,30 mm and 2,50 mm high clothings for application on some conventional cards
    and for man-made fibres.

The SOBELCARD cylinder wires are offered in two steel qualities:

  • ENDURA: long life BEKAERT micro-alloy steel, delivered as standard with a lifetime up to
    800 tons. Endura is recommended for production rates up to 60 kg/h.
  • ULTRA: super long life BEKAERT micro-alloy steel is an option for the highest demands, with a
    lifetime up to 1200 tons. Ultra is recommended for production rates in excess of 60 kg/h.

The design and the geometry of the SOBELCARD cylinder wires guarantee easy mounting and ideal fit for the particular carding conditions and result in:

  • Shorter running-in period
  • Highest nep removal efficiency
  • Maximum cleaning efficiency
  • Consistent product quality
  • Long service life, hence reduced maintenance and greater added value.
