LICKERIN WIRES

• The SOBELCARD lickerin wires are available in two steel qualities:
  ▪ ENDURA long life BEKAERT micro-alloy steel is the standard quality for normal carding
  conditions, with a lifetime up to 300 tons for single lickerin cards, and up to 800 tons for triple
  lickerin cards, depending upon the fibres being processed.
  ▪ ULTRA super long life BEKAERT micro-alloy steel is offered as an option on high speed cards
  and for more critical carding conditions, with a lifetime of 300 to 600 tons for single lickerin
  cards and 800 to 1200 tons for triple lickerin cards, depending upon the fibres being processed.
  
• The SOBELCARD lickerin wires are designed for ideal opening and cleaning of the processed
  fibres.
• The toughness and the durability of the lickerin wires have a considerable influence on the lifetime of the complete card clothing set in general and the protection of the cylinder and the revolving flats in particular.
• The lickerin wires are available in plain rib wire for grooved lickerin and in interlocking wire.
